How can u mix vocals and instrumental beats together. Im trying to freestyle and record it. Whats my options??
Im trying to freestyle and at the same time I want to record it so i can listen 2 myself. What can i do? What are my options? Is there any software that can help me do it? Let me know something. Thanks
I got some mp3 instrumentals i just need to find a way to mix the instrumental wit my vocals. What are some recording programs i can use?
You should try and isolate the vocals from the track. By using some of the (incorrectly spelled) audio programs mentioned above, you can remove or accent certain elements of the mix – specifically things panned to the center like bass, kick drum and the main vocal, or all the way to one side, like a guitar or horn. Use phase/out of phase tricks to accent or remove these elements.

From there, pitch-shift or time-shift the beats to fit the vocal (or vice/versa) I prefer to edit the beats and leave the vocals intact, because beats sound more natural when pitch-shifted than do human vocals.
acid, adobe audition(cool edit pro), cake wake, and the list goes on. you need a recording program first off sunny boy. ive been doing music for about 10 years.
download a free version of acid at

Slightly more pro audio experience than Catch 22 above.
If you have, or can acquire any newish Macintosh, they come with a program called Garage Band. Garage Band is really easy to use. You should import the mp3 beats fisrt, then listen to the track as you’re rapping over them, that way, the vocals and beats are seperated, and you can mix them.
