i just bought the imac and i’m loving it, but i’m a music maker and everytime i try to download a music making software, i click the folder and there are different files. if i click any of them, they show up as a text file with all these symbols.

can anyone tell me how to actually download these online programs?

Those downloads are for Windows/Vista and won’t install to Mac OS X. Either Install Windows w/Boot Camp or find a Mac OS X compatible music making software.
BTW what’s wrong with Garage Band?

i need some sites where i can get music maker stuff to make music and sites where i can download music, software and movies somthing like kazzaa but better than kazaa…. kazaa dont work good on my computer so i need something that works kazaa dont download like it used to.. can you help me whoever gives me the most sties gets to be best answere thank you…

I know names, but since the intentions are less than legal, you gotta do the searching yourself

I am currently using magix music maker 14 producer edition, but I was wondering if there was a better software or even a hacked GarageBand for PC suggestions?

I bought music maker deluxe 10, thinking that it would help me create my own music to songs I have written but unless I need to spend more time with it, it looks as if it’s made for people who aren’t serious about music and just want to throw party music together for a dance or something. Most and likely 10 thousand different people with the same program could easily pick out the same beat and put it with the same bass line and create the same exact song.
Is there a program I can actually create my own loops and riffs and mix my own vocals in?
