get some beat making software and make your own. recycle is a good one, but it’s pricey. if you hunt around on the internet you may be able to find some freeware.

im tired of random idiots who dont even go on RHH section rating my lyrics. So just to clarify this is HIP HOP lyrics.
The beat i used is from The Cold Vein LP called "Atom"(produced by El-P)

The first few lines were from yesterday when i wrote a short freestyle for i forgot who. ANYWAYS…………..
Battling me is like confronting Osiris
Turn the mic into gold with the touch of king midas
Im tryin to reach my prime, optimus
optimal performance always an optimist
My mind is bottomless so you cant be on top of this
Scientific Lyricist slash neurologist with a pen the size of an obelisk
come to think of it, i shouldnt waste my time writing these lines
mankind, wouldnt be too fond of ignorant mind destruction
flammable lyrics causin spontaneous cranium combustion
instead ill take over through dark jedi force manipulation
No remorse opposing force feel the wrath of mind source suffocation
The scientists extrapolation calculates your fate
Theres no escape, manifestation of torture and hate
realize im a descendant of universal gods
have the energy of lighting strucked rods
and the power to kill with ink and wood against all odds
Just blaise, thanks for constructive criticism, as i rarely find it in Y!A. I write at least 16 bars and then tweak it. Thats why i ask here to see if i can get some help tweakin it. so thank you!
Pretty good, pretty good.
One Thing:
instead ill take over through dark jedi force manipulation
No remorse opposing force feel the wrath of mind source suffocation
Thge No remorse line is loner then the manipulation. It sounds like you’re cramming it in there. I think I’d shorten that to like
No remorse opposing force feel the wrath of source suffocation
Also the beginning it doesn’t seem like you have a pattern.
It seems like you’re rhyming ABAB but the beginning:
Battling me is like confronting Osiris
Turn the mic into gold with the touch of king midas
Im tryin to reach my prime, optimus
optimal performance always an optimist
Midas and Osiris don’t and Optimus sounds good with Osiris, but Midas in there throw’s it all off with an BAAB, I mean it’s good but it still needs a little bit notch and tweaks here and there.
I don’t mean instrumental as in just a beat stripped of its lyrics, I mean instrumental as in it never had lyrics or vocals
Here are two of mine:

Terry Brass: Read the details, I’m asking about instrumentals (no vocals or lyrics)

What say you?
I was originally from Swaziland in Africa where there was _no_ music that was worth hearing. When my family moved back here when I was 10 I had never even heard of the Spice Girls (The luck!). Anyways… I realised at about the age of 13 that I was seriously into Drum n Bass, and have been listening heavily to it ever since (Primarily Liquid – Nu Jazz and funk influenced – High Contrast, Logistics, Nu:Tone, Matrix & Futurebound, Brookes Brothers [Hospital Label]). However, now that I’m that little bit older (16) I have had a rethink – after leaving a school in which I would be more easily socially accepted if I listened to DnB, and moving (against my wishes) into a private school, I have started to see the beauty of Instrumental Hip-Hop/Trip-Hop (I’m talking Dan the Automator, Kid Koala, DJ Shadow) as well as chillout and downtempo beats (Bonobo, Jon Kennedy, Mr Scruff, Switchstance Recordings).
I was was wondering if there was anyone that has had any similar experiences, or is starting to see the light in other genres that they had never really experienced or accepted before?
I’m not asking for help – it’s more of an open discussion about musical taste and how it changes. Tell me where you guys are at
PS. Any recommendations are welcome.. Dub in particular I am interested in exploring.

whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaattttttttttttttttt??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????…. dont know what youre talking about…. bfut for me, i love the spice girls…. hehehehehehehehehehehehehehehe…..
I’ve started messing around with the sequencer on my Korg TR (a black Triton LE with some extra patches added in), and I have some good basic instrumental tracks. Not pre-loaded stuff, either – I manually created some beats, added bass and other stuff on it track-by-track. Problem is, I’m not sure what else to add besides vocals (which I wouldn’t be doing – I’m not an MC). It’s like I get past the drum/bass/random 3rd instrument combo and hit a wall.
Any tips would be appreciated. I’m new at this, but I want to do the best job I can with it. Thanks.
