I’ve been looking for a music making software, I’ve heard of where you don’t have to play the instruments. just have to drag and drop and stuff like that. is there anything like that?
Good question. You are right, there are programs out there that let you make your own music without instruments. I recommend a program called FL Studio. It comes with everything you need to make your own original music. You will be able to program the instruments and melodies and add things like drums and effects.
Try out the free demo. You can download it from their website: http://flstudio.image-line.com/
If you like the program and want to buy the full version, here is a promotional link that will save you 10% on the program: https://support.image-line.com/jshop/shop.php?offer=Default&promo=EDAJCI416
It comes in a few different versions. I recommend the Producer Edition. That is what the demo is and it has all the features. Plus when you buy it, you get free update for life, so whenever a new version comes out, you get to upgrade for free. It’s a great deal!

Does anyone know of any good (and FREE!) music mixing software?? I need to make a mix cd for dance, ad i must combine and edit certain songs. Any suggestions/past experiences??
Fl studio is a complicated DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) and I personally like this one.
If your looking for a less complicated kind of software,
I recommend Virtual DJ; its free but its only a demo.

im a guitarist in a band and i want to start mixing music together to make songs. Not only rock/metal but rap too ;D is there any free GOOD programs out there for this? If you cant think of any, some suggestions about cheap software would be appreciated

Cakewalk Sonar is an extremely good, professional-level program for mixing.
Cubase is Cakewalk’s main competitor. It’s good, but I like Cakewalk more.
FL Studio is probably not as good for mixing, but it’s outstanding for creating rap backtracks.
Audacity is inferior to all three of them, but it’s free, open-source software that you can just download.

In my opinion, Digital Performer© (Mac only) is the most functional, professional and easy-to-use MIDI sequencing application. Easy to use, easy to learn, fully-functional, DP is the choice for many professional composers/producers.

I have been inspired to make my own music on my laptop, but what’s the best music making software for that?
You could try noteworthy composer (google it to find it). I did mess around with the software a bit, and I’m sure you could compose something on it. I don’t know if it’s the best software for the job, but I’m sure it’ll get the job done.

Does anyone know any music making software? By music making software I mean software that lets me manipulate virtual instruments to make music. Price does not matter. Free if u can.
You can check out trakaxPC, which we’ve just recently released – it’s completely free (no trial/catches etc.)
http://www.trakax.com/software/pc/
It’s simple drag and drop technology, so perfect for beginners to experiment and have fun creating music, without a steep learning curve. However, there are advanced features such
as beat-matching etc., so you can find a level to suit your capabilities. You can cut samples, remix tracks, change tempos, record in directly from your mic etc. Check out the site for a full range of reviews.
We also provide libraries of royalty-free loops & beats that will help you in creating new and unique tracks – they’re really cheap, so worth checking out:

Good Luck with the music mixing!
